Marc’s 20-year career spans just about every corner of the live entertainment industry. From his early
experience in electrics and technical theatre and dance, to his Executive assignments in much-admired
and nationally recognized performance facilities Marc’s background makes him uniquely qualified as business
consultant, contract negotiator and concert industry professional.

Marc acquired his production expertise as Technical Director and Lighting Director for the Tennessee Children’s
Dance Ensemble, touring throughout the Mid-Atlantic including the Kennedy Center, the Organization of
American States, and the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC. He later toured the Midwest and Deep South
with Harry Chapin’s Cotton Patch Gospel, and gained extensive production skill as Master Electrician for
Opryland USA's Music, Music, Music and the General Jackson Showboat in Nashville.
His experience in the Front-of-House operations began with his assignment as House Manager for the
Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, and later as a member of the opening management team
for the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Accepting the position of Executive Director for the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Marc changed
the operating paradigm from four-wall rental house, to active presenter—negotiating for and promoting over
40 live concert and theatre experiences, including Peter, Paul & Mary, Collin Raye, Bill Cosby, and Lorrie
Morgan,and initiated the Embassy’s education program.
Joining Bass Performance Hall in the spring of 2003, Marc set to work to improve the profitability of the
nationally recognized performance facility in Fort Worth, Texas, and booked some 60 live-entertainment
events including Hal Holbrook, Steve Winwood, the Doobie Brothers, Jeff Foxworthy, Bonnie Raitt,
Merle Haggard, Indigo Girls, George Carlin, Olivia Newton John, Jim Brickman, and many more.
In the last couple of years, Dad Has A Barn Productions has purchased a number of great concert events for Exceptional Artists,
a regional promoter in Omaha, Nebraska including Clint Black, Chris Botti, Kathy Griffin, Amy Grant, Lily Tomlin, Merle Haggard,
BB King, The Oak Ridge Boys, Loretta Lynn, Kenny G, and Bruce Hornsby.
As a consultant, Marc can bring his wealth of experience in facility management, concert promotion, and event
production to individuals and organizations engaged in entertainment enterprise.
Marc lives in Fort Worth, Texas with Mary, his wife of 17 years, their 15-year-old daughter, Stephanie, and
Rocky, their adopted pound-puppy cum show-dog. Okay, maybe not so much show-dog.
